Tiny mp3 player for your site

You know those clunky integrated web audio players you see in band sites and MySpace? That’s all bullshit.

Play Tagger allows you to easily play mp3 files directly on your website or blog. Simply include a tiny javascript, and your mp3 links will automatically become playable right on the page. In addition, your visitors will have the opportunity to easily tag and post the mp3 link to del.icio.us. This script is extremely lightweight, as is the flash movie that plays on demand.”

It’s just a tiny script that will load a tiny player when you click the button next to the mp3’s link. And just because edu loves you, here are some songs for your listening delight:

The Triangles - “Let’s Replace The Cityscapes” 128kbps
I’m really impressed with this group. Really.

The Triangles - “Applejack” 128kbps
If you listen to this and don’t smile, your heart is foul and necrotic.

Johnny Boy - “You Are The Generation That Bought More Shoes And You Get What You Deserve” 320kbps
Wow. How come I don’t know this band? How come you don’t? What the fuck is wrong with this world?

  1. Did you upload the songs, or did you stream them from another site, can I put my own songs?

  2. By the way it won’t allow me to post on the comment before this one, I’m telling you, you should get a job as a music magazine journalist.
